Interactive. Albert² & Wind Tunnel.

This section offers you have the opportunity of demonstrating your skills as a BMW Sauber F1 Team aerodynamicist. This is a vital task as CFD calculations, wind-tunnel tests and subsequent on-track testing are key factors in the enhancement of a Formula One car. In designing new components, the BMW Sauber F1 Team relies upon its Intel technology-based super computer Albert², and the sophisticated wind tunnel situated in Hinwil. They represent the heart of the BMW Sauber F1 Team’s aerodynamics department. In this special exercise you are tasked with finding the ideal front wing and the best setup for the race in Monaco. Whilst doing so you will gain an insight into the enhancement process from an aerodynamicist’s perspective.
